2019 - Manchester


The EANN 2019 Congress was held in Manchester, United Kingdom hosted by the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses. For the first time ever this was also joint with the Society of British Neurosurgeons and was an overwhelming success. Abstracts were submitted from over 15 European countries and keynote speeches were from Professor Joanne Hickey and Sir Alex Fergusson. The Congress was attended by over 500 delegates from across the Neuroscience community and had a variety of networking events that truly showcased the City. The Congress also hosted the WFNN board meeting, where topics such as an International Neuroscience Nursing course and development of a Resource App were discussed. The WFNN also presented plans for their Conference being held in Darwin in July 2021 which will be full of innovative speakers from across the globe.
